The Russian River Senior Center operates a food pantry and provides meals (lunch: Tue-Fri from 11:30-12:30) and snacks from its commercial kitchen. Lunch cost is as follow: Tuesdays, Chef Brad serving American Cuisine – $5.00; Wednesdays, Chefs from local restaurants such as Saucy Mama and Timberline – $12.00; Thursday, Sack lunch with sandwiches and snacks with Chef John $5.00; and on Fridays, Mexican food with Chef Oralia – $5.00. All ages welcome for lunch.
The Russian River Senior Center receives donations from Whole Foods and Safeway on Wednesdays. The pantry opens at 9:30 am. The Redwood Empire Food Bank is co-located on-site on the first and third Wednesdays from 10-11 am for a box of perishable and non-perishable foods.
