  • Adults:  Inten­sive and Tar­get­ed Job Readi­ness Pro­gram with Place­ment Assis­tance (i.e. Job Devel­op­ment) for adults referred from the Sono­ma­WORKS Pro­gram.  Com­mu­ni­ty Ser­vice Vol­un­teer place­ment pro­gram for Sono­ma­WORKS par­tic­i­pants.   Plac­ing between 35–50 Adults in jobs per year.
  • Youth:  Sum­mer Youth Ecol­o­gy Corps crews dur­ing the sum­mer months.   All-year-around youth employ­ment pro­gram.  Depart­ment of Reha­bil­i­ta­tion referred youth for job devel­op­ment, place­ment, and fol­low-along.

    WCCS con­nects seniors with health and human ser­vice resources in their local com­mu­ni­ty and pro­vides case man­age­ment and fol­low up to assist seniors and fam­i­lies plan for the future.

Forestville Area

    WCCS man­ages the meals pro­gram at the Forestville Senior Cen­ter.

Russ­ian River/Coastal Area

  • Senior Cen­ter
    WCCS owns and oper­ates the Russ­ian Riv­er Senior Cen­ter, the only senior cen­ter on the low­er Russ­ian Riv­er. The Cen­ter oper­ates a food pantry and pro­vides meals and snacks from its com­mer­cial kitchen. WCCS man­ages case­work for more than 100 local seniors and hosts over 50 dif­fer­ent health and recre­ation ser­vices for low-income seniors, serv­ing as a plat­form for ser­vices pro­vid­ed by part­ner agen­cies. Plat­form for five SRJC class­es.

Youth Pro­grams

    In part­ner­ship with Sono­ma Coun­ty Human Ser­vices, offers edu­ca­tion­al and employ­ment assis­tance to at-risk youth ages 16–24.
  • Sono­ma Coun­ty Youth Ecol­o­gy Corps (SCYEC)
    WCCS oper­ates the Youth Ecol­o­gy Corps in West Coun­ty, pro­vid­ing full-time sum­mer employ­ment and job train­ing to at-risk youth. Hands-on con­ser­va­tion work is matched with self-esteem build­ing, resume build­ing, inter­view­ing skills and train­ing in prob­lem-solv­ing.
