    Supportive services to low-income tenants of 44 apartment and townhomes.
  • Park Village
    Providing housing to eight formerly homeless families in a semi-vacant mobile home park by June 2018. Five families already housed. Case Manager on-site for all families, including 17 very-low income families already living in the park. Total population of 85 individuals served.

Russian River/Coastal Area

    Manage and provide supportive services to eight previously chronically homeless adults with disabilities

Crisis Support

  • Crisis assistance for individuals and families in need of short-term, emergency financial support.

Employment, Training, Job Development, & Job Placement

Sebastopol Area, Forestville Area, Russian River/Coast

  • Adults:  Intensive and Targeted Job Readiness Program with Placement Assistance (i.e. Job Development) for adults referred from the SonomaWORKS Program.  Community Service Volunteer placement program for SonomaWORKS participants.   Placing between 35-50 Adults in jobs per year.
  • Youth:  Summer Youth Ecology Corps crews during the summer months.   All-year-around youth employment program.  Department of Rehabilitation referred youth for job development, placement, and follow-along.

Senior Services

Sebastopol Area, Forestville Area, Russian River/Coast

  • Senior Case Management
    WCCS connects seniors with health and human service resources in their local community and provides case management and follow up to assist seniors and families plan for the future.

Forestville Area

  • Senior Meals
    WCCS manages the meals program at the Forestville Senior Center.

Russian River/Coastal Area

  • Senior Center
    WCCS owns and operates the Russian River Senior Center, the only senior center on the lower Russian River. The Center operates a food pantry and provides meals and snacks from its commercial kitchen. WCCS manages casework for more than 100 local seniors and hosts over 50 different health and recreation services for low-income seniors, serving as a platform for services provided by partner agencies. Platform for five SRJC classes.

Sebastopol Area

    Project Success + Coordinator at Analy and Laguna High Schools. Counselors at Brookhaven Middle School and Laguna High School.
  • Youth Diversion
    Program funded by Sheriff’s Dept to provide counseling to at-risk youth and their families to avoid suspension and detention.

    35 Senior peer counselors providing group and individual counseling throughout West County.

Forestville Area

  • Youth Diversion
    Program funded by Sheriff’s Dept. to provide counseling to at-risk youth and their families to avoid suspension and detention

    Shuttle service to Empowerment Center in Guerneville.

Youth Programs

Sebastopol Area, Forestville Area, Russian River/Coast

  • Employment and Training
    In partnership with Sonoma County Human Services, offers educational and employment assistance to at-risk youth ages 16-24.
  • Sonoma County Youth Ecology Corps (SCYEC)
    WCCS operates the Youth Ecology Corps in West County, providing full-time summer employment and job training to at-risk youth. Hands-on conservation work is matched with self-esteem building, resume building, interviewing skills and training in problem-solving.
