Being invited to the Death Café could feel a little strange. Is it going to be good? Yes, a Death Cafe is a positive place, a get-together for the purpose of talking about death in a comfortable setting over food and drink. The subject of death can be difficult for people to discuss, though they often wish they could. The setting and the group’s facilitator make it easier to talk about one’s understanding, thoughts, dreams, and fears about the end of this life. It can be helpful to express and share thoughts in a supportive place about a subject that is not easy to discuss.
