For the past six years, West County Community Services has been serving local families during the holidays with our Adopt-a-Family Program. We receive referrals of needy families from our local schools, counselors and other community based organizations in the area.
The difference between our program and others is that we make sure every member of the household recieves a holilday gift (mom, dad, grandparents), not just the children. Sponsors can either buy and wrap gifts for a particular family or donate money for a family and we buy and wrap. Those who have been a part of this program in the past have felt they were able to touch the lives of local families in a personal and direct way.
