Community Giving Programs

eScrip is a hassle-free way for schools and groups that support children's programs to raise funds through everyday purchases made at eScrip merchants.

eScrip and merchant partners have created a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing a percentage of purchases to your chosen group. Just register your credit, debit and/or grocery club cards as supporters of the eScrip program, designating West County Community Services as the beneficiary. Then, every time you use your registered card at a participating merchant, the merchant donates a percentage of your purchase to WCCS. Here's how:

  1. Log on to www.eScrip.com and go to "sign up"
  2. Designate WCCS to receive contributions. Our Group ID is #500003838.
  3. Register your debit, ATM, credit and/or grocery club cards -- however you pay for your purchases.
  4. Browse the long list of local and on-line participating merchants. (Please note that Safeway only donates to schools, not non-profits.)

COMMUNITYsmart also partners with participating merchants to produce cash rebates for schools and nonprofits when you use your no-fee COMMUNITYsmart card. This is not a credit card (although you can apply for one). It is used in conjunction with your normal payment method and when used, participating merchants donate a portion of their proceeds to the designated organization.

  1. Log onto www.communitysmart.com to apply for your free COMMUNITYsmart card provided as a courtesy by Summit State Bank.
  2. Select West County Commuity Services as the Beneficiary.
  3. Browse the long list of participating merchants to see the many opportunities provided.

Albertsons Community Partners program is another way to contribute. Just register your Albertsons Preferred Savings Card by linking it to the West County Community Services' ID Number of 49001011600. Then, everytime you shop at an Albertsons, Sav-on Drugs or Osco Drug, the merchant contributes a portion to WCCS. And, it's so easy:

  1. Go to www.albertsons.com, click on the "In the Community" tab for the Community Partners link.
  2. Enter the 11-digit Community Partners ID #.
  3. Register your Albertsons Preferred Savings card number.
